A new experience... Market's in Portugal (May 5th - May14th)

as some of you know, I had a antiques shop in Rotterdam Delfshaven way back by the end of last century, planning to settle down a bit; it worked out for a while till the 2008 crisis hit and I, avoiding bankrupcy, stashed everything in a garage till better times and gave up this memorable shop. Now 10 years later, I thought let's take some Chiquita Banana boxes with me on my travel and maybe I can do some markets in between. It would be fun selling things from Holland, to Dutch people on holidyas and taking it with them back to Holland again.

The first market was in a little village called Algoz, early wake-up on Saturday 7th... borrowed the car of my Mum, took a few boxes with me and I made-up my stand; the result,  I did enough sales to compensate de fuel costs plus extra. So the next one to try was at Faro... this time my Mum prepared a whole lunch, like if I had to survive... Mother Day in Holland was on May 8th this year and she just spoiled me, with a delicious lunch!
But Faro was outrageous saleswise and what I fantasized about, happened... some Dutch lady was enchanted by a little piece of ceramic, made in Holland... hahaha so funny!
Also my friend dearest Carrie from Rotterdam, living for years in the Algarve, popped-up with her partner Arthur. Still to visit them, when I will be leaving Portugal by the South.
